How is Stop Motion Animation achieved?
In a nutshell, stop motion animation is done by
shooting a single frame,
and stopping the camera to move the object a little bit, and then shooting another frame. When the film runs continuously, the illusion of fluid motion is created and objects appear to move by themselves. This is similar
to cartoons but uses objects rather than drawings. iStopMotion makes the whole process a breeze with its simple interface and ‘onion-skinning’ technology!
